150 g – DME
1.5 L – Spring water
1 Pinch – Yeast nutrient
1 tube – White labs Edinburgh yeast (WLP-028)
11/11/2012 – Brew day
1.5 lb – Crystal 60L malt
0.25 lb – Victory malt
0.25 lb – Peated malt
2 oz – Chocolate malt
4 lb – Pale ale malt
6 lb – Extra pale LME
2 lb – Extra light DME
2 oz – Kent Golding hop pellets (60 min)
1 tsp – Yeast nutrient (60 min)
1.5 oz – Kent Golding hop pellets (15 min)
2 tsp – Irish moss (15 min)
Mashed at 151 degrees
O.G.:
– A: 1.044, 11.3% Brix
– B: 1.044, 11.3% Brix
